The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) has served as the Industry Guardian for the cleaning, inspection and restoration service industries for more than 30 years. As a non-profit certification organization, the IICRC helps ensure that you have access to trusted and trained cleaning professionals by establishing and monitoring certification programs and standards for these industries. IICRC-approved certified firm must have at least 5 years actual experience in the applied-for subject field. Foremost, they must be of good reputation and respected within the industry. They must be affiliated with an IICRC-approved school, or they must have their first two courses monitored by an IICRC representative. Every two years certified firm attend the IICRC sponsored "Train the Trainer Course." Initially, all certified firm are presented for approval to the Certification Council (a group of some 100-industry representatives) and to the IICRC Board of Directors for final approval.

The Environmental Assessment Association (EAA) is one of the leading professional organizations that is dedicated to providing its members with information, education, and professional certification to qualified environmental experts. EAA’s membership is comprised of professionals from over thirty countries around the world involved in assessment, sampling, testing, remediation, environmental consultants, managers and many other professionals that are involved in the environmental industry.
